Track details

From the start of the walking track at Athol wharf road, an easy meandering coastal walk takes you through bushland close to the water out towards Bradley's Head, where superb views west along Sydney harbour to the Opera house and bridge are offered. Here also you can find a memorial for the HMAS Sydney, with its mast part of the memorial. The walk can be extended into a lovely longer trip around Bradley's head and then onto Chowder bay, which is a wonderful spot to snorkel, and a very important habitat for White's Seahorse
